Say Farewell

Postby Thor on Wed Jan 14, 2009 9:46 pm

Say good bye people.
I have sold the RX7. It is going to a good home and the new owner will hopefully become a FDMC member.
I accepted the offer today on one condition and he was morethan happy to oblige.
I get to give the car a final outing at the Rushmoor sprint.

Sad it must go but I can now move on to other things and I will also be away most of 09 with the BTRDA and Historic rally championship. So no sneaking round to my house when I am not there. You know who you are.

Dont know what I will get(if anything) to replace it so all you noise moaners can breath a sigh of relief that the noisiest car to pass noise test wont be out again after april. Well not in my hands anyway

Exactly so how did I end up with one and why would I want one when I have spent the last 4 years trying to beat one. More annoying than a midgy in the sun cream

Word has leaked out on another Forum.(I am on 5 altogether which is why Mrs Skippy never see,s me)
Yes the mazda is gone and I couldnt help my self. Who was I trying to kid by saying I would have an empty garage for a while, thats like long john silver without a parrot.
I have joined the road going kit car class with a Westfield. It has been rotary powered and I was going to keep it that way but now I am not sure.
The main thing about it is its road legal so I can use it whenever I like to frighten the wife, the kids, old ladies and more than likley myself

I have a set of nice sticky slicks you could try out, then you'll be in the dizzying heights of the Sports Leftovers class (or, the MSA's cannot be ar**d to sort out proper classes, Class :-E )
