ACSMC Championship 2015

Post by Redmist » Wed Feb 11, 2015 10:34 am

Having just entered the ACSMC Sprint Champ'p for both cars in 2015 for £5 each :P , I probably won't get to many events this season due to ' repairs to self ' but at this stunning cost everyone should enter , to support the championship plus hopefully get more competitors into their class . I'm often one of 3 or even 2 with a rare 8 at Goodwood occasionally but they aren't necessarily in our Champ'p

Can I echo Rob's comments on the 2015 ACSMC Speed Championships.

Where else can you enter a Championship for so little money? If you are looking to enter our own Club events and maybe a couple more around the area it is well worth entering the Championship. In previous years, contenders have won a trophy by scoring on only 4 or 5 rounds, so why not give it a go and fly the FDMC flag. We are normally well represented during the year, but it would be nice to see a few more Club faces at the awards ceremony in February. More entries also means better competition for everyone.

Go to www.acsmc.com and download the regulations and entry forms. Once you have filled them in, return them to Dave Whyman, and he will take care of the rest for you.

Here's hoping I see a few more of you out there competing.

I agree with all of the above, no excuse this year for not having a go.

Looking forward to it already

Just to add.

You don't need to do a lot of events/expensive cars to win either.

The winner of the hillclimb championship last year was in an almost standard mg zr. And some people walked away with class wins from 4/5/6 events.

A really friendly championship
