I presume you all ready signed up to the club :)

Its at the end of the year now with only a few event around, you could sign up to get your sprint license, but you will need to renew it next calendar year.

If you wanted to make some events this year, you need:
- an appropriate helmet (they have specific regulations on type so motorcycle helmets are not allowed)
- An appropriate race suit
- Appropriate gloves
- Sprint license
- Timing strut (a bit of material to break the timing beam)
- and an arrow on your ignition to show which way to turn off the car.

And that is it! All the regs on correct helmet etc are in the blue book which can be downloaded from the MSA website. Get to a club night and someone will be able to talk you through whats required. Or come and spectate at an event and have a chat to fellow competitors.

As your in an MG, you also have the awesome MG speed series, which lets you use a std car to heavily modified against target times.
