Help me meet the noise limit....

Post by Llewellyn » Wed Feb 05, 2014 11:01 pm

Hi all

I have just got my hands on a replacement for my Proton endurance rally car. It's a 2000 Ford Focus that currently has a Janspeed system on it, which in period, when it last competed on the 2006 Lombard revival rally, was too loud then.

Do any of you good chaps know a handy man or garage/exhaust builder that would be able to help me out in making it quieter, there is space for a bigger rear box, which might be the best solution.

The current system is mild steel. With the season looming its the only thing I can't feasibly do myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

Get rid of the janspeed, sell it on and Buy another exhaust. They are notoriously loud and it will always be an issue
