The March Hare 12 Car Navigational Rally - Friday 20th March

Post by Scoobydo » Wed Jan 28, 2015 7:51 pm

Another 12 Car rally is being planned for Friday 20th March this time starting from the Blackbushe Business park and finishing in Eversley. 55 miles of country lanes using the south west corner of OS map 175. The last time Bill and I used this area was February last year when we had all that flooding so hopefully it will be a bit drier for us.

Again navigation for all classes and marked maps for the beginners.

The Regs will be published mid Feb and emailed out to the regulars and posted on this website to download.

If you've not done a road rally before and want to know more then get in touch, details as below.

If you don't fancy competing and but want to have a look a what goes on, then come out and help. We can team you up with an experienced marshal and you can have your own blast around the countryside.

Regs are on the website and12 Car Capers.

First entries in are:-

Rob Dance & Nick Clarke - Expert
John Nicholls & Simon Taylor - Novice
Jon Hunt & Simon May - Novice

If there are any drivers or navigators who wish to enter and have not got the other crew member I am more that willing to act as a matching service. This applies to complete beginners as well. Last year an expert navigator took a complete beginner out and came 1st. :)

Hi All

After a rather less than stellar first attempt at an event last year  I wouldn't mind another go if there are any navigators out there who would like to join me...

Hello all, there are still 2 places left for any late entrants to the FDMC March Hare this coming Friday, 20 March. MORE IMPORTANTLY, we could really do with another 2 marshals so please let Graham know urgently if you're available to marshal or wish to enter. If you don't have Graham's contact details respond to me and I'll see that he knows.

Steve and I will be running as Course Opener and looking after the final Control so hope to see you all out there!
