Gwyn Jones Memorial Rally - 11th December 2015

Post by Mike East » Tue Oct 20, 2015 4:19 pm

Its the one you have all been waiting for!

We will be running the 5th annual GJMR on the 11th December. A shift in dates unfortunately due to a diary clash. This year we have laid on a 100m route starting and finishing at the The Hen and Chicken pub.

Regs are available from 12 Car Capers. I will also email everyone that has competed or marshalled before.

Please get you entries in early or if you can't compete, please do come out and marshall. We have a lot more controls to man and really need all the help that we can get.

Thanks and regards

Mike

I understand that it has been postponed due to organisers workloads etc.
Make sure you enter quickly when the regs come out.

Apologies all, I meant to update this post when Roger and I agreed to postpone. We sent out a notice to our usual distribution though. Roger has some personal commitments he needs to attend to over the next couple of weeks, plus we both have pressing work commitments. We didn't want to put on a lesser event given our time constraints. We run this event like a full Nat B road rally. As such a huge amount of effort goes into it and nothing is left to chance. We have a provisional date of 22nd January and are waiting here back from the RLO. We have an excellent route over just over 100 miles, with only a mile or two of A/B roads.
