FDMC Car Trial = Sun 13 Nov 2011

Post by STGTA » Mon Oct 31, 2011 12:00 am

Hey Car Clubbers, especially you drivers out there.

The FDMC Car Trial regs have been published, see the news pages and please make your entry.
http://www.fdmc.org.uk/Trial2011.php

It is suitable for road going cars (not that an MOT is required) as well as trick Trial Cars too (which are in their own class).

As usual, this is a fab FDMC event, so even if you cant compete, why not pop along and see what happens.
Hungry Hill is behind CSC in Aldershot,

Any questions, just ask.
and BTW, it is a budget £25 to enter.

It is a tough one and I would like to be elsewhere too (the British Legion for example). But November 11th is the proper Rememberance Day and I shall be thinking then of all those we remember.

Don't forget also that the Merchant Navy Rememberance Day is September 3rd, (the day WW2 was declared and the day the first merchany ship was sunk in WW2).

So many things to remember!

Are you looking for marshals for the trial?

I and two others should be available.

Yes please Andy,
that would be great.
Please come along about an hour before the official start, for a drivers and marshalls briefing.

Does anyone want to do the trial?
I have an old Rover 416 automatic that I plan to use.
Do you want to double drive it with me?

Let me know.

Well, we had 35 starters in the end, and I think most of them had a smashing day, although I'm hearing that Brett ended up smashing something he shouldn't have... More on this later, I'm sure.

Anyway, on behalf of the organising team, I would particularly like to thank all of the marshals who turned out. It was really great to see so many of you, and it allowed us to put on 5 hills for the competitors, in stead of the four that we've struggled to man in previous years. Six hill next year, maybe? :)
