Hi there sorry to jump this thread but I live in Aldershot and was interested in attending these kinds of events. Having read the regulations, I have a few questions;

I need an MSA license to compete in this event - how do I go about that?

My car is a 2015 seat leon cupra 280 forced induction - which class would it sit in?

My tyres are pilot sport cup 2 as spec as optional extra from factory - are these ok?

Does my car require any modification from standard?

Sorry to ask I have never been to this type of event as normally do track days.

Hi luigi33,

Did you come down to Rushmoor Arena on Sunday to watch the Sprint and find out a bit more?

You can get a MSA license application form from the MSA website.
https://www.msauk.org/Competitors/Competition-Licences
For a Non race national B, there is no test or course just fill in the application form and send them the money.

Your car would probably go in class 5, assuming it is a 2.0l the turbo adds 40% to the cc.

Your tyres are list 1B which is fine for class 5.

The only modifications would be yellow tape around the battery earth cable and an on/off sticker around the ignition switch, that's if you car has a key, if it is push button start I haven't got a clue.

If you come along to one of the club nights at the Plough & Horses, Cove on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, I am sure someone will be able to help answer any other questions.

Allan
