CAR-FEST

Post by Redmist » Fri Feb 21, 2014 10:41 am

Apparently there's a hill climb event at Jody Scheckter's farm where this CAR-FEST charity event is held in August . Has the FDMC had any contact regarding either competing or marshalling for it :?: It's off junc 6 M3 near Whitchurch . It'd be good to have a blast on some new tarmac plus eat some water buffalo :P

This will be the third year it has run. When news of the first one broke, we offered marshals, organisers and MSA registered officials, all with experience of running hillclimbs and sprints. Apart from a cursory acknowledgement, we heard nothing from them; it seems they didn't need us...

I went last year, hill climb was not great, but a nice little show for celeb drivers.
We can chat more on Saturday.
