Weber Carb Specialist Needed

Post by Webby » Mon Feb 23, 2009 8:16 am

The 40 DCOEs on my Westie definitely need a service and balance, but, whilst I've bought the service kit, don't think I have the skills to do the job myself. She is uniing rich and also when warm, there is sometimes a flat spot. Anyone know any Weber carb people in Surrey who would be able to service and set them up for me? Near to Epsom would be good, and I know about the people in Wimbledon, on the tad expensive side!

Are you suggesting that Epsom Coaches might be able to service and set up twin 40s?

Actually live in Ashtead so not far. Might have to bite the bullet and go to Southern Carbs, be impressed if Epsom Coaches know about webers though :D :D

You could try Tom Airey. :D

http://www.aireytuning.com/

Haven't used him in years, as he was never a lover of modern ECU/throttle bodies etc.
He did wonders on my old xflowed Westie, even making a set of oversized chokes for my old twin 40's.
