Testing springs and dampers

Post by Rich » Mon Oct 26, 2009 12:12 pm

I am interested in testing the springs and dampers that I want to put on my car to see how they perform compared to new.

Mainly to know what I am actually putting on my car before I put them there.

Does anyone know a testing facility that can test springs and dampers? Do they even have places that do that? They are standard springs and shocks, so I guess somewhere like Leda wouldn't touch them...

I am really after information, not a rebuild.

Cheers

You could try talking to Jules Phillips, at Aurok. They are the UK's main agent for Ohlins car dampers (and where I store and work on my car). There's a link at the bottom of this post. :D
