Airbag warning light

Post by Allan Brown » Sun Aug 04, 2013 8:31 am

Does anyone know someone who can reset airbag fault codes?
My Seat Arosa has the airbag warning light on. My code reader comes up with fault code 024C but it won't reset the fault code
I can't find anything wrong with it.
It did have a Momo steering wheel with the resistor faker plugged in. I have now put the original steering wheel back on but the fault code still won't reset.
I have unplugged the passengers side airbag and it gives a different fault code, when i plug it back in my reader resets the fault code.
Any ideas?
Allan

Allan, not sure how far away you are, but you could phone Chris Shepherd at C & S Coachworks, he's reset fault codes on Jan's MR2 :)

Airbagman reset the fault code.
He said it was a loose connection on the steering wheel airbag. Strange how the light came on when I had the Momo steering wheel on with no airbag. Anyway the light is out now so all sorted.
